Cottage Based Respite
ACH Group have two respite cottages operating in the eastern and western metropolitan area.
The cottages provide day and overnight respite depending on your individual needs. Savas Cottage is based at Rostrevor and Swan Cottage based at Semaphore
Our Cottages offer -
- Planned respite support to meet individual needs
- Day and / or overnight care
- Cottage based care and activities
- Assistance to access appointments
- Referral to and planning for appropriate longer term services
- Specialist staff and volunteers who are matched to suit each individual
Our Cottages are for
Carers of any age who live in the eastern or Western region of Adelaide and -
- Are caring for an older person (65 years of age or older)
- Need a short break from their caring role
- May be in the workforce and need assistance with day respite to continue their employment.
How much does cottage respite cost?
Savas and Swan Cottage and other respite service fees vary based the service required and your ability to pay. These fees typically range from as little as $15.00 to $40.00 (maximum full 24 hour charge)

Angela Sharp, who conducts the ACH Group Choir "Sing for Joy", has been short listed for the 2010 Geoff Crowhurst Memorial Award as part of the Annual Ruby Awards for excellence in the arts.
Sunlife Exchange a Success!

During May a team of twelve ACH group staff enjoyed a ten day international cultural exchange to Nagano and Nagoya in Japan as part of a scholarship program with Japanese aged care provider Sun Life Group.
