Southern Working Carers Respite
Southern Working Carers Respite is a centre based respite service for older people which operates between 6am-6pm Monday to Friday.
Who is it for?
People who live in the southern region of Adelaide and -
- Are employed and/or training to return to employment or study
- Are caring for an older person
What does this service offer?
- Planned support to meet individual carers needs
- Centre based activities
- Facilitated community participation
- Assistance to access appointments
- Minimal home care support and referral to appropriate longer term services
- Specialist staff and volunteers who are matched to suit each individuals requirements
What will it cost?
Respite Service fees vary depending on the service required and the person's ability to pay.
These fees can range from $5.00 to $40.00 (maximum full day charge)

Angela Sharp, who conducts the ACH Group Choir "Sing for Joy", has been short listed for the 2010 Geoff Crowhurst Memorial Award as part of the Annual Ruby Awards for excellence in the arts.
Sunlife Exchange a Success!

During May a team of twelve ACH group staff enjoyed a ten day international cultural exchange to Nagano and Nagoya in Japan as part of a scholarship program with Japanese aged care provider Sun Life Group.
