ACH Group is a not-for-profit organising specialising in aged care in South Australia since 1952.

Our philosophy is to provide choices for older people to maintain their independence as they age and offer support to continue to live a rich and fulfilling life! Social activities, connections with local community and being able to pick and choose the service that is right for you are just as important as high quality care ensuring a good life.

ACH Group offers a wide range of services including retirement and residential options, domestic, personal and nursing care in the home, respite choices and short term transition services.

Our services include:

  • Quality Housing Services for 666 older people in 413 Independent Living Units and 199 Heritage Homes which provide low maintenance, secure living options
  • Residential Care with 7 High Care Facilities (Nursing Homes) and 7 Low Care Facilities (Hostels) providing accommodation and short term respite.
  • Care in the Community supporting 1354 older people with In Home Care Services, Extended Aged Care at Home Packages and Dementia Services.
  • Therapy Services - 3 services bringing physical and lifestyle rehabilitation to 2,700 older people.
  • Respite Programs including Wyatt Holidays, Social programs, Cottage based and Centre based respite and individually tailored services which supports 2,000 older people each year
  • Stay at Home home modification services which offer information and project management advice for any home maintenance/modifications.
  • Health and Nursing Services offering specialist nursing and allied health support at home for people throughout the Adelaide metropolitan area and in the Hills,Mallee and Fleurieu areas.
  • Club and Social Links Services to older people throughout the metropolitan area.
  • Veterans Services, including Veterans Home Care telephone assessments for 23,000 veterans a year,nursing services, Homefront assessments and having a partnership with the War Widows Guild

Angela Sharp, who conducts the ACH Group Choir "Sing for Joy", has been short listed for the 2010 Geoff Crowhurst Memorial Award as part of the Annual Ruby Awards for excellence in the arts.

Sunlife Exchange a Success!

During May a team of twelve ACH group staff enjoyed a ten day international cultural exchange to Nagano and Nagoya in Japan as part of a scholarship program with Japanese aged care provider Sun Life Group.
