Caring for people with dementia
A range of community and residential services is provided through the ACH Group to support people with dementia and their carers.
ACH Group Dementia Services aim to:
- Promote the well-being of people who have dementia by maintaining daily living skills
- Provide flexible and individualized support to assist people with dementia to enable them to continue the lifestyle of their choice either in their own home or in a residential setting
- Provide a range of social and recreational activities to enhance and maintain skills
- Provide planned regular respite for carers either in the community or in residential care
- Offer information and support
- Support links with family, friends and the community
- Advocate on behalf of the person with dementia and their carers
- Offer long term linkage to ACH Group residential care and respite care services.

Riverside Artists 2010 Exhibition

The Riverside Artist 2010 Annual Art Exhibition is currently on show at The Arts Centre in Port Noarlunga from 24 August - 9 September.
Choir Leader short listed for the 2010 Ruby Awards!

Angela Sharp, who conducts the ACH Group Choir "Sing for Joy", has been short listed for the 2010 Geoff Crowhurst Memorial Award as part of the Annual Ruby Awards for excellence in the arts.
Sunlife Exchange a Success!

During May a team of twelve ACH group staff enjoyed a ten day international cultural exchange to Nagano and Nagoya in Japan as part of a scholarship program with Japanese aged care provider Sun Life Group.
