Campbelltown Community Care Program
(In conjunction with the City of Campbelltown)
This program provides assistance to older people and younger people with disabilities and/or their carers, through volunteers, for a range of home services. These include -
Transport to and from medical appointments
- Physiotherapy
- Hydro therapy
- Exercise groups
- Podiatry
Transport to Social Activities
- Paying bills
- Clubs
- Banking
- Fortnightly companionship and assistance with shopping
- Shopping from a list
Home Help
- Minor odd jobs
- Light Gardening and weeding
Social Support
- Provide companionship
- 1 to 1 on a regular basis
Support
- To have family contact
- To ensure residents receive the assistance they require
- Access to information that may assist
- To be able to remain in their own homes in the community
Who is eligible?
Residents of the City of Campbelltown
- who are frail or aged (or at risk)
- with moderate or severe disabilities
- with little or no family support
- Younger people with disabilities and/or their carer
This program is jointly funded by ; ACH Group, HACC, and the City of Campbelltown.
This program relies on the support of volunteers.

Choir Leader short listed for the 2010 Ruby Awards!

Angela Sharp, who conducts the ACH Group Choir "Sing for Joy", has been short listed for the 2010 Geoff Crowhurst Memorial Award as part of the Annual Ruby Awards for excellence in the arts.
Sunlife Exchange a Success!

During May a team of twelve ACH group staff enjoyed a ten day international cultural exchange to Nagano and Nagoya in Japan as part of a scholarship program with Japanese aged care provider Sun Life Group.
