ACH Group - At a Glance

  • is a private not for profit organisation specialising in aged care in South Australia
  • was incorporated in 1952, initially raising funds for building accommodation for financially disadvantaged older people under the leadership of Sir Keith Wilson.
  • today our primary focus is to provide choices to older people to enable them to age positively in their communities and live fulfilling lives..
  • is governed by a voluntary Board made up of 10 members with a commitment to ageing in South Australia and organisational accountability.
  • employs over 1,200 specialist staff and 800 skilled volunteers and provides services to over 35,000 older people each year.
  • provides our services throughout metropolitan Adelaide, the Fleurieu and regional areas such as the mid Murray and Riverland.

Choir Leader short listed for the 2010 Ruby Awards!

Angela Sharp, who conducts the ACH Group Choir "Sing for Joy", has been short listed for the 2010 Geoff Crowhurst Memorial Award as part of the Annual Ruby Awards for excellence in the arts.

Sunlife Exchange a Success!

21/07/2010
During May a team of twelve ACH group staff enjoyed a ten day international cultural exchange to Nagano and Nagoya in Japan as part of a scholarship program with Japanese aged care provider Sun Life Group.
